Brian Wallace is a seasoned learning & development executive with over 20 years of experience in leadership coaching, strategic planning, organizational development, and program management. He has led large teams in tech, education, and non-profits and is known for his ability to design and facilitate transformative learning experiences. Brian has spent his career helping leaders and teams unlock their potential and achieve meaningful impact.
Background & Experience
Brian began his career as a public school teacher in New York City and later went on to lead K-12, higher education, and EdTech programs in New York and across the US. He most recently served as the Vice President of Learning & Development at the New York Foundling, where he led training and organizational development for a staff of 2500 and transformed their approach to onboarding and leadership development.
Brian is a certified leadership coach through Bright Morning and also holds the SHRM-SCP credential. He earned a Master's degree in Education from Pace University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Millsaps College.
Coaching Approach
Brian combines facilitative and directive approaches to coaching, supporting clients to unpack the "why" behind their beliefs and behaviors as leaders while also giving concrete strategies for improving communication, deepening influence, and strengthening executive presence. He collaborates with clients to set and clarify goals and maintains an ongoing dialogue about progress, adjusting course as necessary to ensure that clients are getting the most value from their coaching experience.
