Bettina González is an executive coach who works with CEOs, C-suite leaders, vice presidents and entrepreneurs, and she has spent much of her own career as an executive. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, Bettina supports experienced, high-performing executives to lead with greater emotional intelligence, influence and clarity. She coaches in English, Spanish and Papiamento, and across the cultures behind them. Her work helps leaders navigate high-stakes conversations, strengthen their teams and make sound decisions under pressure.
Background & Experience
Before becoming a coach, Bettina spent many years as a senior executive with Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where she directed two vacation properties in Aruba with a team of 225 people and later opened and grew a sales operation in Miami from one associate to 65. Leading through growth and change showed her how much of a leader's success depends on emotional intelligence and the quality of their conversations. In 2021 she founded her own coaching practice. Trained as a scientist, with a degree in medical microbiology, she brings an evidence-based lens to her work. She is a certified EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360® practitioner and a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach.
