About Us

Better leaders. Clearer communicators.

Our Story

Ten years in, still built the same way.

Cadence started as a leadership and communication practice with a clear point of view about what coaching should look like — active, direct, and grounded in real psychology rather than borrowed frameworks. A decade later, that point of view hasn't softened. What's changed is scale: a full bench of coaches and specialists, clients across industries and geographies, and enough runway to keep refining an approach that was never meant to be generic.

What We Believe

A few things we hold to, regardless of who's asking.

Development that matters takes a position — it doesn't just reflect a leader's own thinking back at them. Change happens through sustained effort, not a single breakthrough moment. And a firm that knows a client's organization can do work that a firm cycling through accounts never will. These aren't slogans; they're the reasons Cadence works the way it does.

Recognition

The kind we didn't have to chase.

Cadence has been named Canada's Top Small or Medium Employer, two years running. It's the kind of recognition we're glad to point to because it's real, verifiable, and not something we wrote about ourselves.
