Corporate Social Responsibility

A workplace built the same way we build our client relationships.

Workplace Commitment

A workplace built the same way we build our client relationships.

Cadence maintains a discrimination-free environment, pay equity, and inclusive hiring practices as baseline commitments, not aspirations. Canada's Top Small or Medium Employer award — held two years running — is one external signal that this holds up in practice.

Land Acknowledgement

The land we work on, and the people who cared for it first.

Cadence Leadership + Communication operates on the vast and diverse territories of Turtle Island. Turtle Island, also known as North America, is the ancestral land of the Indigenous nations and cultures who were here long before us.

We recognize the enduring connection of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples to this land, stretching back countless generations. The stewardship, wisdom, and resilience of Indigenous communities have shaped the landscapes we call home today.

We acknowledge the need to understand and respect Indigenous peoples’ historical and ongoing contributions and actively support reconciliation efforts. It is our shared responsibility to honour and protect these lands, waters, and cultures for current and future generations.

In British Columbia:

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish, Haida, Nuu-chah-nulth, Nlaka’pamux, Secwepemc, and many other Indigenous nations.

In Ontario:

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, and many other Indigenous nations.

Recognition

Recognition we're proud to stand behind.

Cadence has been named Canada's Top Small or Medium Employer, two years running. It's the kind of recognition we're glad to point to because it's real, verifiable, and not something we wrote about ourselves.
